Posted by: figgy4 at Mon Nov 27 11:56:35 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by figgy4 ] I just aquired 2 new CPs Female 5 1/2' Coastal and a 7' Jungle Male they are said to be a proven pair by the previous owner however I have my doubts. I need to get them sexed to be sure. I got these two home on 11/22 and the next day I pulled them both out and tried to hold them they did not seem stressed but they did hiss a lot the female did more than the male. She continued to hiss about 15 minutes after I put her back in her enclosure. Now I am wondering because I have never breed CPs before and for that matter I have never breed anything yet but I have read a lot online regarding this. I need help...Should I attempt to cool these two off and breed them this season is it too late or would it be ok to hold off cooling until mid December? I have been told on another message board that I should just leave them alone because they sound stressed...any opinions to either back that up or different suggestions? Thanks any help you can provide is appreciated. [ Hide Replies ]
