My male is a normal, so mainly I would just like a pastel female because I like the look of them, not necessarily because I'm all that concerned with producing pastels. I think that might make breeding even more interesting, but it's certainly not why I would breed them.
Is it standard practice to breed a male morph with a normal female, due to the differences in price between males and females? I've seen a few pics of this. I guess the way I want to do it is kind of backwards then, but I love my Stevie (my male BP), and the only reason I'm looking for a female at all is because I want him to be able to breed (and because I need an excuse for another snake ).
I think that a nice big female Pastel would be such a great addition to my reptile collection. They are such beautiful snakes. Even the normals. Normals, pastels, and albinos are the only ones that seem to interest me. Some of you breeders will hate me for saying this, but I'm waiting for the day that albinos drop within my price range Sorry
Thanks for the advice I will still keep it in mind.
