I work at a petstore and I see squeamish moms and wives all the time when their kid says "I want a snake!" Usually I take out a couple baby corn snakes (they're so tiny it's really hard to be scared of one)and give one to the mom and one to the kid and usually within fifteen minutes the mom is going "wellllll okay that's not so bad..."
