many of you know me many of you dont. lets just say im not a newbie but i will be if i get a hog.
i really like easterns but i read they are the harder species to keep and breed. the thing about easterns i like is their neonate colors and was wondering if any stay the silver/black or do all of them change as they get older? dont get me wrong i love how vibrent they can get as adults but i really like snakes that look anerythristic, is their an anery?(eastern, western or mexican?)(cant own tri colors here in n.y.)
my biggest question must be on feeding are they really as picky as they say or are most people just not used to them?
i have an abundant supply of frogs and toads here in new york they invade my house to the point they actually get in my basement. i actually dont mind cause they eat the spiders and crickets that get down their.
ill be reading care sheets and getting as much info as possible but would love as much insight as i can get from you guys and gals
thanx abunch
adam

p.s. what other species of colubrid would you most compare them too?
