Brumating

I know I have posted about 734 messages today but just looking for some quick answers. I have heard you can breed without brumating, and that it will affect how many eggs she lays. Well, how do I know when she is ready if I don't brumate?
And when would you GUESS she may be ready if kept at normal temps all year long?
