What high risk?????? No high risk with hogs except if you feed them together, and even then it is a feeding mistake!!
I leave my westerns together during breeding season. When the female is gravid the male looses interest and then I seperate them. During feeding time, I feed in seperate containers. My tricolors the same way. My easterns cohabitate the entire year. If I seperate the female from the male she gets real wacko. She was a WC rescue, and being placed with the male is the only thing that calms her down. When with him, I even feed her by hand.
