Laying eggs with no male...

Last night my female leopard gecko who has always lived alone went to the bathroom and appeared to lay what looks like an egg at the same time. I've never bred geckos so I'm not positive it is an egg but it certainly looks like one from internet photos. She appears to have laid it WITH her poop/pee as they seem attached. Is this possible, and is it serious? Thanks!
