>>hi, >> >>My bro has had his gecko for about a year but recently he has stopped eating and has now turned a a very pinky colour. He also lost the tip of histail the other day, altough i think he might have been startled by my niece, would this have caused this? I am thinking of bringing him up to my own gecko to see if he will start eating once he sees her.. >> >>I am just wondering if you guys had any advise on this.. Is the not eatting normal? Will his tail grow back? Is it advisable to house a male and female together, will the breed? Or should i keep him separate until he back eating and looking healthier?? >>Sorry for all the questions, but i kinda new to this myself and our vets are no use. >> >>Thanks for any adise in advance >> >>Jim
I would NOT PUT HIM WITH A FEMALE I repeat NOT. That will stress him and her out because he has to get used to a new enclosure and surroundings. And Ofcourse his tail will grow back but it will be very stressful on him so I would try not to disturb him as much. Good Luck
