One of our SHTCTB laid this 1.5 weeks ago, the one pictured is the fertile one and the other was infertile. At first we did not see any veins inside of it but we decided to incubate anyway and after about 3-4 days we finally saw a red spot inside. There has only been slight growth within the egg (redness) since we first noticed the appearance of red and I was just wondering if this was normal. Some other pics I see of candled eggs on the net @ 2 weeks appear to have much more growth inside.

Sorry about the crappy pic quality, we are using Albeys method and I didn't want to open the container and let the humidity out. There is no red on the other side of the egg or anywhere else (that I know of, I am candling through the lid of the container and cant see anything else). I will take the egg out and give it a bottom candling when I let fresh air into the container on wed.

The red spot you see in the egg is the only red spotveins that there are.
