Well, my suggestion may get me skeweered on these forums, but everyone has an opinion, and a you know what.

How big is your leo? If your leo has a nice plump fat tail, and is otherwise happy and healty, I say let him/her be for a few days. Don't offer any food items.

Wait about a week, and then start to offer superworms, if you're Leo is big enough for them. They are more active than mealies so seem to draw attention a little bit better.

Yes, I know It's cruel... It's harsh... It's wrong, but it is your fault the Leo is stuck on wax worms anyway.

I wouldn't suggest this if you are still raising a juve because I've nevered offered any other staples outside of crickets while young and then to supers while adults, never liked mealies.

PS, I have done this with my leo who got addicted to pinky mice. I haven't offered him one in over 4 months, and now he just munches on the superworms.

Although I did try wax worms, and pheonix worms. I suppose they are to small to entice my leos.
