I don't remember who asked for pictures of my gecko and his habitat, but here you go. I took some snap shots today while cleaning my room. The flash on the pictures really doesn't do him justice, he's more of a highlighter color. I believe he was a month old when I got him, so that makes him about 9 months old now. His bands have blotches of yellow in them, so maybe they'll dissapear completely by the time he is full grown. Irregardless, he's an awesome gecko. I got these today after I vacuumed my room and sprayed down his cage (he likes to lick the condensating moisture, even though he has a constantly full water bowl, so I spray once a week) and he did a few gecko laps around his territory.

I also measured him today, and he's grown a half inch! That makes 8 1/2 inches. Do leopard geckos actually stop growing, or will they grow to a "regular size" like snakes do?

The black you see around the outside is just black vinyl, I used it as a visual barrier when he was little so his cage wouldn't be so bright. It used to go all the way around, but I took off the front and made the sides smaller as he got a bit older, because he was constantly climbing on top of his furniture to see what I was doing at my bed and with my other animals. Now he just climbs contently onto his pot after feedings and watches me.

Enjoy!
