hmm sounds rather strange to me, sounded as though he might have been gagging/regurgitating, all though im no expert so i dont really have all the know how. the thing about having his eye's closed when he's out, and when he's licking his lips/nose is jut a way of tasting the air around them, try to make the air "clean". i just open the windows wide 5-10 mins before i get them out incase of any unwanted smells etc. the shakes however seems rather strange, and would maybe be best consulting a vet, do exams and test n shizzle. have you tried varying his foods? im guessin he's on crix and (hope you arent making the same mistake i did) and make sure he gets a waxworm every other week, not every week. if he's a year old at least he should be able to handle large silkworms, black crix, phoenix worms (dont know what they are yet, think there delicatessen here in the UK). varying his foods might solve the situation, and he might have just been tickled by the hairs on the waxworms. try varying his foods, and if all else fails be ready to add "baby food" to the shopping list :P
