But to me, I don't see a down side to opening up the egg a little early. What if the snake has an egg tooth but doesn't know what to do with it? What if the diet we feed are reptiles in captivity is lacking something and the egg shells are tougher than those in the wild? Why not increase the odds of healthy babies any way we can. After all we incubate artificially to increase the odds! Ron. | ||
