I did not mean that hybrids as a rule don't form an egg tooth. I have heard of situations where one or two in a cluth did not. I would open up eggs regardless of what's inside. Even with a non-hybrid there is a chance that not every baby could form an egg tooth or get out on it's own, why chance it? Ron.
