Posted by: FRoberts at Fri Jun 8 18:21:27 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by FRoberts ] I can see both influences, more so the carpet, but the ball genes are noticeable, should be interesting as they grow, apparently ball pythons can be bred to just about any python, I am sure a male ball could even fertilize a reticulatus. I have seen burms, carpets, bloods, and womas. The womaball being my favorite look wise. I have believed all pythons could be hybridized, all boas, and all colubrids as well. They are all very closely related, if someone went beyond Family status and was successful, NOW THAT WOULD BE TOO INTERESTING. Hope one of you hybrid guys/gals tries it. As far as it goes against systematic's a " colubridae / Pythonidae " may be achievable. A recent ball/burm hybrid was just insane. [ Hide Replies ]
