I don't expect that this Cyclura is just set loose by someone. These animals are worth a lot of money (at least here in Holland) So why would someone dump it, if he can also simply sell them.

I don't know what their worth over there by you, but here it's pretty much money for what you've found.

They need a very large cage, so I don't know if your friend can provide this for her? They eat a lot also, so that might be 'expensive' also.

So better know what you do with this animal, don't just give it away or something. Their really nice to keep if you have to money and the roam.
