I wouldn't advise it either. This is what happened several years ago when I introduced a male and female that were only a couple of pounds different in weight. The male had to have his jaw wired back together and it took 3 months to heal before we could remove the wire.

Since that time I have introduced my adults with barriers between first, for several days, maybe even a couple of weeks, then let them interact with a lot of supervision for quite a while. I now have a trio that live together comfortably, and 2 extra males that live a solitary life.
