I'm a firm believer that smaller meals fed more frequently are better than larger meals fed less frequently.

My burms aren't that big and I couldn't tell you what size of what prey a 15-footer could safely eat. Let's just say that if it could eat an 18 pound pig without the pig leaving a huge bulge (less than 1 1/2 times snake's diameter), I'd consider it a safe, good, meal. But if the bulge is bigger than that I'd stick with the 2 - 3 rabbits. The rabbits actually sound better to me anyway. 2 - 3 prey items isn't a lot.

Maybe try waiting a little longer between rabbits per feeding, giving it more time to get the last one settled down. I know it takes longer to feed 3 prey than it does to feed 1 but I really do feel it's better on the snake.

Take care!
