Do not attempt to force feed it. First offer chopped green veggies and perhaps a bit of fuit. Relax over time it will eat if you don't disturb it too much. Remember its a baby and will be very shy for a while. Sometimes at first they don't like the commercial foods but over time it should eat that as well. I FEED SPRING MIX which you can purchase at Publix in bags and hatchlings seem to relish it.TC
