I've always been fascinated by Rock iguanas...since the first time I saw one in Tom Crutchfield's shop in Bushnell, Florida nearly 20 years ago. I believe it was a Grand Cayman Iguana...huge lizard and he had free run of the shop!

I have been out of the hobby for 10 years and decided this time, as opposed to having 2 rooms full of different species, to just concentrate on the few species I really like.

My three personal favorites are C Lewisi, C. N. Caymanensis, and C.n. nubila. Do I keep searching for purebred Caymanensis and Lewisi or am I stuck with hybrids due to CITES laws? I live in Northern Nevada close to Reno/Tahoe (low humidity, hot dry summers and moderately cold winters) so whichever I keep will be indoors 4-6 months of the year.

Any suggestions?
