I find pvc coated chain link best for cyclura and 1x1 pvc coated welded wire for ctenosaura. If using 1x1 welded wire and you want it to last forever, use galvanized pipe as the the frame as you would for chain-link. You will need to attach it with steel twist ties or metal screws which are more difficult. When using chain-link kennels, it is best to have it on a concrete slab because these enclosures are extremely heavy, and may sink into the ground unevenly making your enclosures look sloppy. The welded wire enclosures are best put in a substrate of drainrock covered by decomposed granite. This allows for good draining.
