Not to rain on your parade, but it's really not cost efficient to ship live rats, for lots of reasons.
It's against regulations in most common carriers, so it's gotta be done via airlines.
Some carriers require a vet signed travel certificate like a cat or dog.
The actual chew resistant, shipping containers aren't cheap, either.
Rats should have water and food (in case of delays) as well, and the package has to somehow contain the water and be able to dispense it to the rats.
It MAY be more cost efficient to ship a large number of very young rats, but it's better to just get them from a local pet store.
You're prolly gonna have hundreds of dollars invested in shipping a handful of small rats that will be stressed and traumatized.
Too many problems.
