I have two little iguanas I have had for about a month. The larger one is very aggressive to the smaller one. He doesnt let her sleep up next to the heat lamp, and he bobs his head at her when he is eating and she tries to come up to the food dish. I do not really know thier sex, I am just guessing. Anyway, aside from this, the smaller one had alwasy had this injury to her tail. it is toward the base. Her tail began drying up and dying from the tip up, so we got it amputated about 1/4" up from the dry part. I am worried it will continue to dry out until it reaches the injured spot. Now the larger one seems to be beginning the same thing on his tip of his tail. I am keeping am eye on it to make sure that is what it is...He doesnt have any injuries further up though...What else can I do for them, and will the tails grow back?? How long will it take and what will it look like?? Also, what can I do to make sure the smaller one is warm enough and getting enough food?
