Thanks, and understand Timika is in Southwestern Irian Jaya so perhaps rugosus is from the same locale or north in Jaya Pura?





The first specimen is Acanthophis rugosus, which is commonly seen from the Irian Jaya area. The last one is Acanthophis laevis, and that one is from the Timika area of Indonesia.
