Do iguana's spit?

I am still trying to train this Ig, I took a few pictures today so that you can see what size it is. I had to chase him around his cage until I caight him, he was a real spaz so I let him tire himself out in the bath and then put the leash on him. After that we hung out for about 20 minutes.

I suppose he is somewhere around 7 months old - he opened his mouth alot but didn't bite he. I looked in his mouth and sisn't see any teeth -- does he have teeth yet?

We cleaned his cage and it looks like he spits on the glass....do these guys spit? it looks white and was clearly liquid at some point since it dried in a drip on the glass. There is already at least 4 marks in his cage - but we havn't seen him do it?
