Not to mention the fact that if your iggies came from different regions, then they have different breeding seasons. The time for e female to be receptive is much shorter than the time the males wishes for her to be. In essence, you ended with a male who forces himself upon a female who cannot escape as she could in the wild.

Also, there are dominance issues, even between male/female pairs. One can intimidate the other away from food, heat, UV, etc. Fights in cages can lead to broken toes, limbs, tails, infected bites.

I would not keep two igs together once they hit breeding age. Just my $.02 worth.
