It would make sense in areas where avian predation is prevalant. You see alot of the non cryptic species such as racers and coachwhips and other fast snakes. We also know that stripes makes you LOOK faster than you are....ever seen a muscle car with a stripe?? Looks fast when its not even moving... | ||
