On a similar note - One of my feeder mice escaped and remained at large in the house for a month, Then one night we were able to corner it and recover the mouse.

The mouse had been loose for too long, and would never settle down or re-integrate with the colony. all the snakes were recently fed, and our monitor is still too small to eat an adult mouse.

So I took him out in the woods and set him free.

Who knows, someday I may find calico mix field mice in my yard

"Like a true natures child, he was born to be wild"

It rained like the dickens last night, I couldn't help but wonder how he liked his first storm?

We do have a lot of milk snakes around, so he's on his own there.

Wayne A. Harvey
