The female had a small clutch of about 7 babies. They are the coolest of all garters. They tend not to musk and Tolerate handeling. I was able to get themall on pinkies and fuzzies. Even the adults were easy. I froze some feeder gold fish. Then I used a piece of frozen talapia. I rubbed themall over the pinkies and it worked right away. With snakes that ate worms I tied the worm to a f/t pinkie and it worked fine. Snakes that do not eat mice should have some sort of vitman and calcium suplements as well as uvb lighting.
