.. it will do any good. I also contacted several TV shows and politicians, asking them to address this USGS corruption and violation of public trust. No one seemed interested.



While I greatly appreciate all the effort and research folks have done, and their intentions are noble, I also don't quite understand why anyone expects the same government agency (ie, Dept. of Interior) that allowed for the publishing of the insanely ridiculous range map in the first place would be interested in logic, reason and science (ie, our responses.)



This is a losing battle unless we get some politicians and/or big name media coverage to expose this movement for what it is. This USGS map thing is an egregious violation of public trust from those who work for us, and it should be punished.
