Never owner a hondo... I've always had some of the calmer milksnakes as pets, such as Nelsoni. I am attracted to the size and beauty of some of the Hondurans, and was wondering about their temperment.

I'm aware that most are pretty squirrely until about they're about a year old. After that, if they are handled frequently, do they get super tame, and rarely if ever attempt to bite? I've had adult Nelsoni who've been great while handled by kids - can Hondurans be as "trustworthy" as long as they are handled gently?
