I believe it kills on contact and you redo all cages to catch eggs that hatch. The eggs are immune. Do yourself a favor and do ALL the cages and the baseboards along the herp room. If you think it is a bit$h now, try to get them after a reinfection. Do a thorough job now and quarentine any w.c. animal in a separate room.
