I have and always have set aside several acres bordering 200 acres of protected state woods.
I try to give back to mother nature what I have taken.
Every spring, my kids, girlfriend and I transfer as many of the frog eggs as we can gather to a pond I built and closed off to the riders. (from the bogs they ride in)
Last summer I shut the dozer down to relocate some milk snakes that I disturbed while landscaping.
Taking without giving back is never a good thing.
