Thanks for the response. I had the eggs on the plastic grid that we are all apparently using. This was in a plastic rubbermaid (shoebox size) with about an inch of water in it. I had this covered for a while until I started to see a lot of condensation and it scared me that it would wet the eggs. So, I removed the water and put the entire box in a larger box that had water in it. Still plenty of condensation so I covered the small box with newspaper that seemed to absorb the water. It apparently was better because there was no more condensation on the top, only on the sides. The larger plastic box was covered and there was plenty of condensatiohn on it. I had the entire thing in a box that had a heat coil in it and controlled with a Herpstat ND Proportional thermostat. I followed the temperature regime that Greg Maxwell proposed in his book. There you have it.



Many eggs caved in almost from the start. I now wish that I would have candled them. I am pretty certain that I witnessed the actual mating so I assumed fertile eggs. Thanks again for your concern.
