Posted by: Joe K. at Sun May 11 07:47:11 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Joe K. ] In my experience if the parents have yellow bands the babies have a better chance of developing them. At the same time I have gotten normal wide banded babies from high yellow narrow banded adults. If they are going to get the yellow banding it is my experience that it will usually develop within the first 2 years and most of the time sooner. I have several hold backs of last years pin banded babies here and they are developing the yellow bands as well as getting lots of yellow infused in the red on thier sides......Joe [ Hide Replies ]
