crusty butt

if anyone can help me i would appreciate it. i took my 3 yr old honduran out today for some fresh air and noticed that his butt was somewhat swolen and there was some of his bedding coming out. i thought that he might have some fecal matter just stuck but it was actually tissue with the bedding stuck to it. his cage is extremely immaculate and he has plenty of water. i love this snake more than any of my reptiles and i hope this is not something really bad. if anyone has any help i would be more than greatful. otherwise i will be taking a trip to the vet. thans in advance
