I was thinking of breeding my melanistic eastern female to a fairly normal male (yellow and black) I have and was wondering if anyone had info on genetics for the black phase. Is this dom,rec,co-dom??? Should I hold out until next season and look for a solid black male for her this season? She is def old enough and big enough (3yrs old and 2.5 foot long, great weight and has been on rodents for about two yrs (thank god!)
Any input would be appreciated!
