Alright, folks... I've finally organized a smattering of photos for you to enjoy (or not enjoy - that's up to you). Here's a mix of shots (mostly milks) both in the field and in captivity, new and old.

Let's start a field trip, shall we?! We'll begin in scenic Colorado:

Lyons, CO L. t. gentilis

Same animal, different shot

Golden, CO gentilis

Same animal, different shot

Littleton, CO gentilis

head shot

Now we'll move on to the wide open spaces in central Kansas and see a variety of gentilis:

Let's next head North to the sandy expanses of northern Nebraska:

We'll now make our way still further north and have a look at a few critters from under the Big Sky of Montana:
Powder River Co., MT multistrata

Carbon Co., MT multistrata

Bighorn Co., MT multistrata

Yellowstone Co., MT multistrata

A short-horned lizard (Phrynosoma hernandesi)

Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta)

And a beautiful sunset taken here in Billings, MT by Ryan Nafts (Deepsea)

And to round out the post, a few belly shots for Snakebit (Doug):
Central Kansas gentilis

Yellowstone Co., MT multistrata

Hopefully this post has spurred you into wanting to get out in the field and enjoy nature. Go for it! Avoid the temptation to collect everything you see, but leave it for another day, and above all, HAVE FUN!!!

-Cole
