It would all depend, the moment I feel the snake is not

comfortable, I would let it go.



So far, it has been a sweetie, No musk or any indication that it wants to bite. Very curious and alert, and so far it does not seem to mind living in a terrarium.



The best part of collecting local snakes, is I CAN release them.



Sometimes when I bring in one in the spring, I wind up with a gravid female, so far all babies have been released after 6-8 months of feeding and growing. (always rewarding to encounter a familiar animal in the wild)



And natures instinct is a powerful force, I have picked up snakes that I raised and would once eat from my hand and they would coil up and do the defensive striking motions while flattening out and rearing. life experience teaches them quickly.
