Last night for the first time my new found eastern took a nip at my hand.

To me this is a good thing, he's starting to act like a milk snake does. I theorize that the snake may have been under the weather, or stressed out. Now he's had 3 mice and a soak and constant warmth maybe his health is improving?

A second side effect that I like is my daughter saw this and suddenly stopped asking if she could hold it

One thing I have noticed, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, yesterday he tried killing a mouse by it's tail! I HAD to bonk it and take it away from him, then I offered the now stunned mouse head first, he took it and swallowed it.

I figured that with it being a fresh caught wild specimen, that pre-kill would be hard, but he eagerly took the mouse, even out cold!

Regards,
Wayne
