Posted by: justinmatthew at Thu Jun 5 11:01:15 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by justinmatthew ] I wasn't sure she was gravid and after her shed she hadn't laid, it ended up being about a week from shed to lay. The first time I saw them lock up was a couple days after her shed, so I wasn't expecting anything right away but I had kept the nest box in anyway. Well this morning I got a pleasant surprise as I saw her in her nest box with I counted 17 eggs. Thinking she was done I thought she had one lodged but then realized that she was still in the process so I have at least 19 currently. I'm excited to say the least. Any incubation tips that I might not have come across in literature, etc would be appreciated. Thanks! [ Hide Replies ]
