Hatching question

My incubator is a meat cooler (styrofoam) with heat tape in it.

When should I take the egg box out of the incubator...or open the lid and leave it open, to insure that the babies do not suffocate inside?



My eggs are on day 55 today, so pipping should be soon.



I just want to make sure I do it all right.
