I agree, I prefer to focus on the natural beauty of the herps. I think a lot more interesting specimens can be produced, and the hobby can benefit the most by careful selective breeding within the species for desirable characteristics.



With that being said, I try not to knock anyone for their own breeding projects. After all, whatever keeps the hobby interesting also keeps it alive, right?
