Hi Wayne!
When hot weather moves in the temps in cages can easily creep upwards due to the room's ambient temperature increasing also.

Snakes get irritable when their cage temperatures get too hot. There's usually an increase in forum posts about aggressive snakes during the dog days of summer. High temps is the leading cause of sudden temperament change from docile to aggressive.

Double check your temps as high temps can also be very lethal to reptiles.

Take care!
Mike
