Thanks for the info. I do have it in a 30 gallon tank with topsoil on the bottom with weathered pine needles and dried leaves as substrat,a half round hide, a water pool and a large ceramic(?) branch, also store bought vines attached to the sides of tank.



I went to the pet store yesterday and got two red guppies(fish) and put them in the pool.



I picked him up today he seemed somewhat lathargic. Low and behold I discovered he had just recently ate one of the guppies.



I do plan on putting him back into the wild but I would like to enjoy him for awhile as hubby will not let me purchase a snake as a pet.
