Hmmm,....yes, that's usually a sign of something not good, like maybe a mite problem the snake is trying to rid itself of.

Injuries are another reason they do this, but I doubt it has any injuries or burns. I would check the animal and it's environment for mites. They like to gather in the small gap around the eye-caps(ocular scale), and under the chin between those scales too.

That very close together shed would make me wonder as well.
