those are NOT from south Texas, Wyoming, New Mexico, or anywhere else like that. They're from southwest louisiana in a very sandy type of swamp not far from my house. They were hibernating in a crawfish hole and all came out when they smelled the gumbo I was making. Of course I had to feed them.
