Thank you kindly for the insights and concern.

I inspected for mites, and found none. But as a precautionary measure, I sprayed him and re-did his enclosure. (Sky did have mites a few weeks ago, resulting in a vet visit for the bites becoming infected)

Now I am making sure our daughter washes and rinses her hands before touching any of our reptiles. She is always fiddling with perfume and fake nails. And now that I think back, she did handle him right after messing with nail glue.

I'm as obsessive compulsive and A*** retentive as "Monk" (not really, but almost) so I wash my hands almost too frequently.

This morning, when I was feeding him, he went up my arm, onto the table, down the leg and crossed the floor, back up another chair leg, and right back over to me. Then he ate the worm

So I would have to assume he is fine, behaving just as Limon does.

I never figured he would be such a popular snake around here, the folks at this other forum I chat in are the same way.

Maybe it's because he is so unique, and there is nothing available about caring for this species.

Does that mean I get to create the first "care sheet" for them??

Kindest regards to all,

Wayne
