I'm thinking about buying myself both a male and a female 100% het (albino) hognose. I really like albino's but i can't afford buying one as i'm just a student. Normal hogs are nice too so no worries (and hets have nice genetics). I'd like to buy these snakes when they're still young because it'd be nice to see them grow up. Once they're both adults, i might want to try breeding them and who knows, maybe i'll get a little albino.

Now, i know how genetics work so there's no need to explain it to me. Genetics however is theory. F.e.: There's a 50% chance that, when you become a father/mother, your child will be a girl and 50% chance that he'll be a boy. However, it is also possible that you get 5 kids, and all 5 of them are boys.

The same can happen when breeding hets i suppose. So... i was wondering what's the possibility that you get several clutches with no albino's? I know the theory, but i'd like to hear some results of people that have bred hets.

Maybe there are some people on this forum that have bred hets and that can tell me their results? Did you have lots of diversity in your baby snakes? Did you get any albino's?
