They retain sperm like crazy so you do NOT want to keep them together, or the female will lay herself to death. Last year I had a female lay 8 clutches, I tried stopping her after 4! I also do not brumate mine at all (kinda hard to do in sunny FL) and I never have any issues with breeding, heck my Westerns laid in November last year---go figure. Tricolors are great animals, but they just don't work like other hoggies. | ||
